Even at school I had the title "Servant of the Skies". I never wanted to do anything but fly and expand my own horizons.

Nevertheless, I have always pursued my own back-up concept and therefore, parallel to my airline pilot training, I also completed the MSc Air Safety Management in London. This was ultimately the basis for many enterprising activities in recent years:

I wrote my master's thesis on cockpit/cabin communication, and I set up a safety risk and reporting management system on the Airbus fleet at airberlin. With the implementation of an operational crisis management at airberlin - unfortunately also with some real deployments - and the implementation of what I learned in numerous independent projects, the logical cycle to safety has closed for me.

Today, I have over 6000 flight hours in my logbook, I am a Member of the Business Continuity Institute and founder and Managing Partner of aim4success Group GmbH, to which the aim4safety brand also belongs.

As an expert in business continuity management, crisis management and also leadership topics around the implementation of corporate strategies, I am now booked beyond the German-speaking market.

I am always on the lookout for new challenges and the industry leadership standard. Standing still is not for me. This search is evidenced by numerous certificates and further education, most recently at the University of St. Gallen HSG with the CAS course Change & Innovation Management.

Even though I have traded in the airline cockpit in the meantime, I cannot do without my vocation. I still fly privately with great enthusiasm. As a board member of the Motorfluggruppe Zürich MFGZ, I am responsible for the areas of handling, sightseeing flights, infrastructure, safety and business continuity management and with Boutique Aviation I return to my roots by being the responsible Safety Manager.

Transformation starts with awareness. It is important to keep an eye on the What if's and especially to reduce the Unknown Unknowns. This is vital for survival in aviation and a decisive competitive advantage in business. My vision is to bring aviation thinking into your company.
